Cárnicas Salami S.A was founded in 1958 by Juan Antonio López Fernández “Antón” located in Santander, Cantabria.
For over 50 years, Salami has been dedicated to providing high quality meat products and ready-made foods. During this time, it has remained faithful to the principles of its founder: honesty, effort, hard work and quality.
Salami offers a broad range of products, especially prepared meats and tripe, all GLUTEN-FREE AND DAIRY-FREE, and conserving all the traditional flavour and quality that has been the hallmark of the company since 1958.
One of the keys to the growth of Salami has been its unswerving dedication to quality in each and every product and process, with painstaking control and oversight of our suppliers from the basic ingredients to the final product.
As a sign of our dedication to quality, Salami was the first SME in the Food Sector of Cantabria to obtain ISO 14001 certification, guaranteeing environmental responsibility in all of its processes.
In 2012, it was the first SME and the second company nationwide to calculate its “Carbon Footprint” according to the ISO 14064 standard, which includes the calculation of all greenhouse gases produced by the company.
